We had a wonderful time replicating a Fete that was first held in the Rectory Garden in 1885. Many people came to enjoy the fun of sideshows, children's and adult races, Temperance tent, Beer tent, Fashion show and Baby show with much more. We were entertained by Wittersham's own "The Banned" and in the evening with Pete and Doreen and their friends. Tony Rawlins played his guitar and sang during the afternoon - evening interlude. A BBQ and last night of the Proms Wittersham style ended a most enjoyable day when we were pleased to welcome so many people to join in the fun. |
