what a surprise

I would like to thank the Parish Council and all concerned in nominating me for the KALC Community Award which I was privileged and humbled to receive last Tuesday from the High Sheriff of Kent..

How wonderful it was to have the new Village shop officially opened at the same occasion and our thanks to Dax for all his hard work in providing us once again with a local shop.

Race Night

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the very successful Race Night.   St Michael's Fish 'n' chips were delicious and a great time was had by all.  Once again congratulations to the organisers for putting on a great evening with a true community spirit.

Wittersham welcomed Archbishop Justin Welby

It was a real delight, pleasure and privilege to welcome Archbishop Justin Welby to our morning service on February 23rd.

We welcomed friends from some of the other churches in our Benefice and everyone enjoyed his visit and the opportunity he gave for all to speak
with him personally before and after the service.

His words of wisdom and encouragement in his sermon were very well received by all.

The choir sang the beautiful Anthem "Come Holy Ghost" (Attwood) and we all sang some rousing hymns.

Dedication of our new facilities

Archdeacon Philip Down came, on May 5th, to take our Service and to dedicate the wonderful new facility we have made by restoring the old Bier house.   It was a great occasion and many thanks to all who have been involved in this restoration project as well as those who have generously given their time and materials.
